I know, I know

You have all been waiting for me to write a little something. Its been really busy here at home & at the allotment of course but i'm back I hope with updates. I have alot to say but will keep it brief and had a little at a time.

The cucumbers have done brilliant this year two plants and 2 dozen cues so far. First time for peas and we manged 800g at the first picking pretty dam good i'd say. Runner beans came later than everyone elses at our allotment but we have had a good supply just so we french beans too. I picked a big bag of beans before we went away and came back to another bag to give away.

Yellow carrots (yellowstone) in the picture came good but when I pull them up people say they aren't very orange are they. I have grow orange one which are in the ground now. I don't know whether I said that my parsnips did grown at all. Well I planted some seeds just coping my neighbour I think it was May and they have grown so leaving it later did work but we have had alot of rain.
Courgettes coming to an end now and I wasn't over run with them even though I had 3 plants going and a patty pan that produced nothing.
I have one really big pumpkin growing but not a hallowen one.
Veg growing at the moment are kale, cabbages, swiss chard, celeriac, parsnips, beetroot, carrots, chillis in the greenhouse with some gerkin plants.
