Meet our new additions
Two more hens, interested to know what breed they are, I have my ideas. They were introduced to the other hens Friday after staying separate for 2 days. It looks like our Maran has started laying found her in the nest box and later there was a small egg and i've had one everyday. The other older chicken has stopped laying for some reason, she wasn't laying before these two were put in so nothing to do with new hens.
Didn't go to the allotment this weekend as it been a bit wet but been doing a bit of internet shopping and purchased a hot house (plastic greenhouse) for the allotment. It will stay up all the time so I can continue growing edibles over the winter.
Tomato & chilli seeds are up. Here are the chillis.
May get a few more trays sown this week and hope the weather gives up on the rain a bit so we can go over the allotment again with the rotovator then the spuds (earlies) can start going in.
To end todays posting heres Morris have a nice bowl of tea (his favorite treat).
