First of the potatoes are in on Good Friday

Happy Easter to you all.

Managed to get the rotivator sorted this week after it letting us down last weekend. Hubby rotivated the patch for the potatoes to go in. I strimmed the grass area where we drive down to the plot.

The radishes are showing where I sowed them with the parsnips. The weather must be warm as some parsnips have come up where I had them last year. (opps I left them behind thinking about it).

Our early potatoes Duke of York 28 seed potato and International Kidney 28 seed potato are in.
We first thought we would do the hole method what hard work. Duke of York have gone in like that. Seed potato, manure & then straw in the hole. International Kidney have been put in trenches, one row with the manure & straw other with nothing was getting two tired and also Hubby left quite a big gap between the trenches. I'm calling this a test to see what grows better haha Planning on growing some lettuces between to use the space. We will get one lot of second earlys in with these and main will have to go on the new plot. I'm just hoping that the light don't get to them and I haven't planted the Duke of Yorks too close together in rows.

Thats it for today may get more done Sunday.
