Sowing start off
Managed to get some work done down the allotment passed couple off weeks. The rotivator got an airing and down to work.
Purple cape caulis just coming up ready to be picked. First time growing these and they seem to be alot easier than white cauliflowers all of them are growing a perfect curd. Since I started this post they have grown much bigger and we are having some for dinner tonight.
Pulled up all the savoy cabbages and that patch is ready for potatoes this year. Not sure if i'm going to plant as many though, got lots to go in as i'm using the small potatoes from last year that we didn't eat. Given the greyhound cabbages a feeding and today when I went to collect some veg they are starting to heart up.
In the picture above you can see my greyhound cabbages. In the first box at the top I have sown broad beans about 90 in total (no show as yet today). 2nd Box carrots and the 3rd i'm still deciding. Alot of tomatoes have been sown at home & chilli plants but there is no show yet. Cauliflowers also have been sown but again no show.
I've got lots of sowning to do so i'm hoping easter weekend gives me a lovely sunny weekend so that I can get going.
Also last Monday one of our chickens went to Pre school for them to see and they really enjoyed its visit and it was nice for me to be able to take it in. I may have some more chicks coming as my sons school hatched some and I may take them off there hands so that they can get a chance for them to see them getting even bigger. I'll keep you posted!
Here are my rainbow colour of eggs that I get from our hens.

Lovely site - forgive the intrusion, but your Garlic was way off being ready - in my opinion!
