Busy weekend

As the weather stayed fine this bank holiday weekend we decided to tackle my 2nd earlies and main crop potatoes. The weeds have taken over and thats all you can see, its a very pain staking task something that I wasn't looking forward to. My hubby has been dealing with them and dug up all the nadine so far not a very good crop really but the weeds properly didn't help. He has now started on the wilja. The tomatoes have blight so i've started pulling them up and i've thinned my beetroot.

We had a good crop of Pink fir apple which is a salad potato but they were planted over the side. The rest of the carrots have been dug up and Andres cauliflower and some more greyhound cabbage have gone in.

First swede picked today and i've got an even bigger one on the other side.

First of the brocolli coming through too.

Three melons are growing in the greenhouse not sure what type yet as i've got three different sorts.
As my cucumbers aren't doing very well as they are all bitter i've made some sweet cue pickle but do I really want any more as i've got another two cucumbers in the fridge to use somehow. Pickle onions ready in December and blackberry jam.
