Over the moon with my new greenhouse

After the plastic one blew away I came round to the idea that my cucumbers & melons would be outside but too my delight I got offered a greenhouse. The Saturday we went to look at it and for Hubby to decide how it would come apart it was raining on & off. We went back after lunch and made a start my taking the panes of glass out and it started raining big time and we all got soaking wet. Hubby carried on and I left with the boys. Sunday was a another fun day as we had to lift the greenhouse frame over a brick wall about 5 foot high. Hubby said to his older lad we have to carry this frame through our town to the allotment "oh no i'm not he said!" Lucky for him a guy with a pick up was just in the same road and we asked for his help. And here is my pride and joy .......................

I repotted my melons today that will go in the greenhouse canteloupe, watermelon & honeydew as they were slowly dying at this rate they would get in the greenhouse at all. I'm down to one telegraph cucumber as 3 other have died or been eaten. About 3 gerkins left from 7 and 2 crystal apple/lemon cues. I've started off some more cystal apple & some white wonder so I might get some cucumber this year. Going to put some tomatoes in the greenhouse and I'm hoping next year I can have tomatoes earlier as I had to buy shop ones today with no taste.

These are my little gem & webb lettuces I think they look great and touch wood haven't been eaten yet.

These are turnips (oasis) to me they taste like radishes. I picked a few more tonight and left them at the allotment oops...

The cauliflowers have made a come back and are looking alot better with a spray or too with some pesticide may even get a cauli but don't hold much hope.
The first early potatoes Duke of York look healthy and should be ready in a couple of weeks to dig up as a few plants have flowers on them. The Jersey royals are coming along behind. They had them in the supermarket today but I thought i'm not buying them i'll wait.
The globe artichoke plant is looking super and it even has a couple of globes forming. Not sure what to do with them but i'll try anything. As its very pretty it gives a nice look to the allotment too.
Our harvest this week included some spinach and broad beans.
